Mission: Benefiting Texas Youth Through the Purchase of Show Projects.
History: The Lone Star Cattlemen Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, was established on the principle of rewarding Texas students for outstanding performance and personal dedication. LSC’s goal is to foster an appreciation for hard work as a means to a successful end. LSC is a working board, with no employees. All fundraising events are planned and executed by volunteers. All event proceeds benefit LSC’s mission.
Accomplishments: LSC is the #1 buyers group in Central Texas and supports students at regional stock shows and auctions. To date, LSC has spent over $2M and purchased over 1000 FFA and 4-H projects, helping countless students as they pursue their dreams of higher education. LSC proudly holds the title as top buyers group at the 2010 through 2019 Rodeo Austin Youth Auctions.
LSC Wild Game Dinner. Scheduled for September 26, 2020 at the Texas Disposal Systems Exotic Game Ranch in Buda, TX. A fun evening of fabulous food and cocktails, fantastic Raffle and Live Auction items and lots of fun games. We’ll also be showing college football games on two big screens! Benny Boyd Jeep Raffle. 4-H/FFA/Student Ag organizations use this opportunity to raise money by selling $10 raffle tickets. Participating organizations benefit from 75% of their sale proceeds. The prize is a brand new Jeep Wrangler donated by Benny Boyd Auto Group. Ticket sales are July through March, ending with the raffle winner being drawn and announced at the Rodeo Austin Youth Auction in March. Proceeds benefit participating 4-H/FFA/Student Ag organizations, as well as LSC’s mission. Please CONTACT US if you would like to get your organization involved.
