About Lone Star Cattlemen

Mission:  Benefiting Texas Youth Through the Purchase of Show Projects.

History:  The Lone Star Cattlemen Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, was established on the principle of rewarding Texas students for outstanding performance and personal dedication. LSC’s goal is to foster an appreciation for hard work as a means to a successful end. LSC is a working board, with no employees. All fundraising events are planned and executed by volunteers. All event proceeds benefit LSC’s mission.

Accomplishments: LSC is the #1 buyers group in Central Texas and supports students at regional stock shows and auctions. To date, LSC has spent over $2M and purchased over 1000 FFA and 4-H projects, helping countless students as they pursue their dreams of higher education. LSC proudly holds the title as top buyers group at the 2010 through 2021 (except 2020 due to COVID) Rodeo Austin Youth Auctions.
