Connie and her husband, Craig, are both board members for The Lone Star Cattlemen Foundation and have been married for 32 years…High school sweethearts both from Needville, Texas. The FFA Association and 4-H Chapter were ever-present in her small agricultural community. Connie saw first-hand how much hard work and effort went into being part of these organizations and has always held a special desire to help young Texans who continue their involvement in these amazing associations and chapters.

Connie moved to Austin in 1979 to be with Craig while he attended the University of Texas on a football scholarship. They married in 1982 and remained in Austin to make their home and start a family. She has had the ultimate privilege of being a stay-at-home mom to their three beautiful daughters from the very beginning of their lives. Her passion has always been her children, as well as, any child in need. She has a massive love of animals and is extremely attached to her 4 precious dogs! Connie also enjoys various never-ending home projects, family and friends, the lake and beach providing a helping hand to anyone, or any organization, where she can make a difference.

Connie brings incredible energy to our board, she has never met a stranger, and has an incredible sense for detail and organization. She remains extremely involved in her grown daughters’ lives and continues to enjoy all the personal rewards she receives from her community involvement.
